It may look peaceful and serene, but don't be fooled: I was being swarmed by a horde of mosquitoes while taking this photo. Despite wearing long sleeves, insect repellant, gloves, and even a mosquito net, I still managed to get a few bites, not to mention the ominous buzzing of the little demons around my ears.
The bright red dot near the horizon is Mars. That's as much as I could make out during the mosquito assault.

If you've ever been intimidated by a massive Cinnabon or its price, the six-pack of Cinnabon Bites is for you! Got these on I-95 on the way to Richmond this weekend. I had to stop at the tourist info desk for a suggested route around the DC traffic snarls I was hearing about. It wasn't for the Cinnabon. Honest!

One of the male saki monkeys bites the end of a plastic toy that resembles an eggplant. Soon after I created a few frames, he threw the eggplant on the floor and moved toward some real food.
I named this file frost bite because as dramatic as this may sound at one stage this morning I actually couldn't move my fingers...lessons learned ,always take my gloves or just stay in the ken(house);)...Thanks for looking

Black skimmers at North Beach, Fort Desoto. The female is holding a small fish but you might need to view the photo in its original size to see it.
She is talking to me right now and I love everything she is saying. She was telling me about who she thinks she is - not a girly girl, part tomboy, etc and at the end, she said, "I think what the meaning of all that was is... I like who I am."

The Wolf just arrived. I was gearing up for lots of pics but a cloud stole the sun. So just a few close ups for today :(
She's lovely.
A female Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) will reach up to about 3 meters long. Although this one is leaping out of the Adelaide River to be fed, they do this naturally to catch snakes and reptiles on low hanging branches.
I used the sport setting on my camera.
