With a couple of rainy days this past week, a wide variety of mushrooms are popping up in our backyard.
Most are "big" like this one, with the cap already turned up and showing all those gills.
Looks like something took a big fat bite out of this one but must have decided it wasn't the mushroom they were looking for because they left the rest of it intact.
I'm hoping some of the pretty ones will show up at some point, but until then these will have to do. 🍄
The Evil Queen, disguised as an old peddler woman, offered Snow White a beautiful red apple. Snow White took one bite of the apple and fell into a deep sleep.
Just a light lunch today ~ a cup of spicy roasted tomato vegetable soup with a slice of toast and margarine ... I managed to sneak a quick bite!!

Die beiden Schneeleoparden "Sagar" und "Luisa" geniesen den Winter im Zoo Neunkirchen. Man hofft auf Nachwuchs bei dieser stark gefährdeten Tierart.
Ich bitte um Verständnis, wenn die Bilder nicht so scharf sind. Es schneite sehr stark an diesem Tag und die Fenster waren nass und vereist.Danke!
