This is definately a "Bird Of Prey" flying in front of these trees, although I have NO idea what kind... They nested in the Tulip Poplars that line the creek on my farm.
Apparently this is a Juvenile Red Shouldered Hawk. Thanks for helping me out! (all the way from the Netherlands on top of that).
I had a fun day with SpikerB today. We saw loads of bald eagles, snow geese, a couple of owls and a whole lot more. This very tolerant eagle was among the highlights of the day for me.
Buzzard seen near Boddington, near Gloucester. I have to regularly drive through Boddington at the moment due to road works, birds of prey are a common site, normally Buzzards but also Red Kites and Kestrel's.
This is the first time I have managed to get some half descent shots. As they flew away I noticed there were six of them circling round, although very high.

Lots of trees between me and this barred owl. Heavy crop on the photo. Better than I thought it would be though.
Spent a lovely Sunday here Shuttleworth With my parents and my good friend Dan . Have got lots of photos to look at and upload, planes, gardens and birds of prey. Plane pics to come, i dont want to overload you all :-)
