Great afternoon at Somerville mines. Cloudy day, but a'lot of predator birds flying around. The owls didn't come out till 4pm, but it started sleeting, so didnt have long with them.

I think this is a male sparrowhawk in my garden

Taken at Falconry centre...Thirsk!!

This hawk was mantling over a rabbit kill. Not sure what kind of hawk it is but it ate as much as it could then tried to haul it off into the bushes. A bald eagle came down and grabbed it before it disappeared.
