Display of the Jersey Falconry club at the Trinity country fair Saturday 18 June 2016

I enjoyed myself so much on the first Introduction to Birds of Prey photograph that I decided to do it again. It was well worth it from my perspective so I hope that these shots reflect that. I tried to do slightly different things to last time and it helped that the barn owl was more co-operative this time with her flying.

This pair was on the the fence posts when I turned out the horses this morning. They both had their wings outstretched..... after one took off the other stayed and the one flew right over my head in a circle... when he flew off I saw the other had taken off. One had white underneath and the other brown all over.

Here is one of my shots from yesterdays outing, my last for 2012. Here's hoping that 2013 brings many more things of beauty that I can capture with my photography!
