She has become a regular visitor now but we never see the male

in the garden, in the air we see them both,

The Osprey (Pandion haliaetus), sometimes known as the Sea Hawk, Fish Eagle or Fish Hawk, is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey. It is a large Raptor, reaching more than 24 inches (60 cm) in length and a 71 inches (180 cm) wingspan. It is brown on the upper parts and predominantly greyish on the head and under parts, with a black eye patch and wings. In 1994, the osprey was declared the provincial bird of Nova Scotia, Canada.

I was lucky tonight getting around thirty nice keepers of the barn owl on the home from work in nice light

nice to get some shots from the hide across the woodland I quite often lose them in this area and get blurry shots

Seen at the Rio Alcobillas hunting over farmland where it was repeatedly attacked by a Red Kite and driven off Unfortunately a dull cloudy day which affected the quality of the picture

Mum was keeping and eye out on the owlets. I think we have 2 little ones but I haven't seen them both in the same eyeshot yet fingers crossed :-)

This girl made her nest on top of the light pole at the local ball field.

Always exciting to see a Red Tailed Hawk in my area. We have Red Shouldered Hawks galore, but it is unusual to see a Red Tailed. I was fortunate to see a breeding pair (missed photographing the "act") the other day, Just love how the inflight shots show off their namesake
