Kestrel pair taking a rest, and a scratch before... again making sure there will be the pitter-patter of little baby claws soon

nice to find the little owl again at wattisfield harder now the trees are in leaf and would not have seen it if it had not flew to a different tree

This osprey was trying to hunt for fish. Unfortunately for the bird and for us he didn't manage to catch one.

nice and close but head down hunting as usual

The little one was perched for nearly 10 mins in the evening sun, it allowed me to move position and to capture it in a few poses, the is a wild little owl local to me that this year has not been playing ball. thankfully this evening i very much enjoyed its company.

lucky today at lackford the osprey had not been seen all day but I wandered down to a empty hide not very confident and a pair turned up within 10 mins not the nice blue skies of the weekend but a first for me so a happy man

had several nice evenings with no show this barnie seem to like over cast skies

went looking for hares but found these nice red kites

So beautiful all splayed out. His feathers were just amazing.

A Barn Owl that flew across my path (thankfully) and proceeded to hunt around me allowing some opportunity for pictures
