02/25/21: We recently discovered this buzzard while taking a walk and were able to see it up close. (But not as close as the photos at the end suggest - I have a Kleien superzoom camera.) The crows would not let the buzzard rest and chased it away as soon as he sat down in a tree.

Let this be a lesson to always bring your camera with you. I was running some errands and suddenly saw this fella on a road sign.
I did not have my camera with me. I flew home, grabbed my camera and came back as quick as I could.
Lucky me for me, he was still there!

I was trying to some more shots of my little Red Squirrel buddy when this hawk swooped in an laded on my porch railing, not much doubt what he was after as my feeders are right there, unfortunately my presence probably ruined his hunt!
A birthday treat from my wife - a day out with Wildlife photographer Alan Hewitt alanhewittphotography.co.uk/ and birds from Andy Howey's Bird of Prey Centre; Haggerston Castle, Northumberland. Photo-Set www.harrisonaphotos.co.uk/Landscapes/Birds-of-Prey-2018/
Had the most awesome day at Claire Carter and Hawkeye Bird of Prey Photography Workshop in Thoresby Park. A privilege to get close to such beautiful birds and I learned such a lot about bird photography that I hope I can put in to practice in future. My photos (just a few here out of 100s I took today) are pale imitations of what is achievable but I'm happy with (some of) my efforts with limited kit.
