The Painted Spurfowl (Galloperdix Lunulata) is a bird of the Pheasant family found in rocky hill and scrub forests mainly in peninsular India.
Males are more brightly coloured and spotted boldly in white. Males have two to four spurs while females can have one or two of the spurs on their tarsus.
The species is found mainly in rocky and scrub forest habitats unlike the red spurfowl.
It is found in the undergrowth in pairs or small groups, escaping by running and rarely taking to the wing when flushed.
They feed on berries, seeds, tubers, drupes, small mollusks, insects and flowers.

The cormorant is an excellent fisher. It is most easily spotted when it is perched, stretching its wings out in the sun to dry after a dive. The UK holds internationally important wintering numbers of cormorant.

Cuando las vemos volar pensamos que son negras, pero nada más lejos de la realidad, son de un color azul, y este color se ve todavía más resaltado en determinadas condiciones de luz.
Quan les veiem volar pensem que són negres, però res més lluny de la realitat, són d'un color blau, i aquest color es veu encara més ressaltat en determinades condicions de llum.
When we see them flying we think they are black, but nothing could be further from the truth, they are blue, and this colour is even more pronounced in certain light conditions.

The Siberian Rubythroat adult male in breeding plumage has olive-brown upperparts from crown to tail. The greater wing- coverts are tipped buff, forming a narrow wingbar. The primaries are edged cinnamon.
On the underparts, chin and throat are red. Upper breast and sides of lower throat are brownish-grey, whereas centre of breast, belly and undertail-coverts are whitish. The flanks are washed olive-buff.
On the head, the crown is olive-brown. Eyebrow and malar stripe are white and lores are black. The malar stripe is bordered with black.
The bill is blackish with paler base of lower mandible. The eyes are dark brown. Legs and feet are greyish-pink.
The Siberian Rubythroat feeds primarily on insects and larvae including ants, wasps, beetles, mosquitoes, bugs and spiders. It also consumes aquatic prey such as molluscs, crustaceans and aquatic insects caught along the seashore on passage during migration.
