The Grey Fantail is most easily recognised by its constantly fanned tail and agile aerial twists and turns. Both sexes are similar in appearance: grey above, with white eyebrow, throat and tail edges. This species is quite inquisitive and will closely approach an observer.
Golden hour is the best light but for small or song birds, overcast weather is also pretty good you can shoot all day, this one in early morning overcast and u can see those water drops on the perches, thoroughly enjoyed photographing this beauty in my area.
Connecticut Warbler - Michigan
This has to be one of the toughest warblers to photograph. In general it doesn't live where people live (northern remote bogs) and the bogs are difficult to enter, and even if you do, they are a tangled mess filled with more mosquitoes than you have ever seen in your life!

In the UK spring, Stonechats (Saxicola rubicola) are busy establishing territories and preparing for the breeding season. They can be found perched on top of shrubs and fences, where they sing to attract mates and defend their territory. The males' distinctive call, which sounds like two stones being tapped together, is often heard during this time. Stonechats build their nests in low vegetation, typically using grass and moss, and lay their eggs in April or May. During the spring months, they feed mainly on insects, spiders, and other invertebrates, which they catch by hopping on the ground or making short flights to catch prey.

If you drive through the salt marshes and spartina grasses at Ananias NWR, you can often hear the chips and buzzing of the Seaside Sparrow. Although these sparrows are known to lay low in the tall grasses, if you’re patient enough you can find one singing on an exposed branch or twig.
