Took a lot of effort to pull this shot. I wanted to land this birdie on a small stone with a flower instead of the large boulders that it usually perches upon. Took me around 5 days of daily driving around 80KMs everyday to this place in Himachal Pradesh and waiting every morning for a couple of hours. All worth the effort in the end.

Often seen perched sideways on the trunks of trees, the Eastern Yellow Robin is a common inhabitant of forests and woodlands in eastern Australia, usually with a tall shrub layer and sparse ground cover. They are seldom noisy, but their penetrating piping call is one of the first of the morning chorus, often well before dawn. They usually feed by pouncing from low perches onto prey on the ground

A beautiful Pied Wagtail (Motacilla alba yarrellii) perched elegantly atop a weathered wooden fence post. Set against a soft, out-of-focus meadow, the bird's striking black, white, and grey plumage stands out in sharp detail. The rustic textures of the barbed wire and aged wood add a rugged, rural charm to this serene moment in the British countryside.

Two vibrant kingfishers perch gracefully on a mossy branch, each gazing in opposite directions. The left bird looks slightly downward and to the left, while the right one gazes calmly to the right. Their vivid plumage stands out against the dark green, softly blurred forest background, creating a perfect moment of stillness and symmetry in nature.

The Eurasian Magpie is often unfairly labeled as just a "black and white" bird, but in the right light, its true colors emerge. I caught this one perched among the budding branches, perfectly illuminated by a soft morning glow that set its iridescent plumage ablaze with teal and deep blue.

A quiet moment of elegance from one of our most intelligent garden visitors.

Giraffes are the tallest mammals on Earth. Their legs alone are taller than many humans—about 6 feet. They can run as fast as 35 miles an hour over short distances, or cruise at 10 mph over longer distances. A giraffe's neck is too short to reach the ground. As a result, it has to awkwardly spread its front legs or kneel to reach the ground for a drink of water. Giraffes spend most of their lives standing up; they even sleep and give birth standing up.

En aquesta foto s'aprecia perfectament perquè el seu cognom és tridàctil. Podem prendre fantàstiques d'aquest ocell si no tenim por d'embrutar-nos d'arena i aconseguir un punt de vista arran de terra.

In this photo it is perfectly appreciated because his surname is tridactyl. We can take fantastic shots of this bird if we are not afraid of getting dirty with sand and getting a point of view at ground level.
