I slowly followed this guy from a safe distance on the road through the marsh.He kept looking back at me in his travels toward the forest up the hill.Just before the light on the road up ahead he went into the bush and disappeared

Couldn’t find anything decent for a winter scene without delving way back to 2010 when we had the heaviest snowfall for my neck of the woods. Anyway, here’s something from my most recent outing. Besides, I’ve not posted a square image in a long time, let alone with a border.

On a foggy morning around sunrise, out and about in the Eifel not far from home.
An einem Nebelmorgen gegen Sonnenaufgang unterwegs in der Eifel nicht weit von zu Hause.
This fallen birch, which survives and still grows today, has arching roots that form a jungle gym for many a kid hiking the Craggy Pinnacle trail!

A walk though the park, finding how the trees getting their beautiful dress back again. The sun reaching though the canopy in the evening light.
Snowy Birch...
Our first substantial snowfall fell overnight covering everything with a light powdery snow, not the heavy, wet kind. it was a few inches deep and you could blow it away with your breath. lovely and soft.

Another photograph from our visit to Kinver Edge 22-10-2025,Here I had come down from the top of the Edge and I was walking where the woodland boarders the open farm land and the side light was beautiful
