Truth encapsulates the essence of words, while sincerity epitomizes actions—both profound qualities that, unfortunately, can be expertly counterfeited. Many rush to judge solely based on what they hear or see. But true wisdom demands a deeper understanding. It requires looking beyond the surface.
A wise person doesn't rely on first impressions. Veracity and sincerity are crucial, but they can be faked. Only through proof can you find the essence of a person, revealing the heart behind them.

Off the beaten track......well beyond the end of the very minor road to Mealasta on Lewis. A beautiful stretch of coastline with plenty of evidence of the old days. Quite rugged but with stunning views back down to Harris. Definitely not on the tourist trail!

Ghosts of Feature Film : A Cinematography Project
This project is an experimental collaboration where shots were composed from a cinema standpoint, incorporating actors actually acting out scenes, in-character, instead of modeling or just being photographed. With Joseph Petito acting on-camera as the main star, I lensed different scenes from 7 films. Each sequence is part of that specific film's larger story, each film having it's own style and distinct types of shots & angles. We designed this project to create a cohesive cinematic illusion that these are real movie screenshots, but for movies that don't actually exist... hence Ghosts of Feature Film.

Mt. Thor is, without doubt, one of my favorite mountains to photograph. Those that follow my photographic journey know that it is not my first and definitely not my last shot of this granite giant. Its name is associated with the Norse god, a patron of thunders, lightning, storms, and strength. Thor is also considered to be responsible for the protection of mankind. Each time when you hike through the valley, you feel the overwhelming power and energy of Mt. Thor. The mountain itself is visible for about 40 km and keeps changing its shape as you approach it.
I chose this composition because it demonstrates the best Mt. Thor’s dominating power in the whole valley. The sunset light combined with soft-hued clouds added a bit of warmth to this hostile environment.
The mighty Beyond the Brick made my Nebulon B their model of the day! Another one for my Media Scrapbook album.
Snow Lake, again. Sitting here watching the clouds play on the peaks, ou wouldn't guess that over the misty mountains high is not Rivendell but the I-90. What a state we live in. Yesterday we gave two PCT hikers a ride from Tunnel Creek trail to Stevens Pass and they were rightfully wowed and surprised by Washington's scenery. For some reason we're not famous like Colorado or the Sierras. Let's keep it that way.
