Gaucho and Spanish ring knots added to the Nebo pen, with black 0.9mm and red Atwood micro cord.
The red cord is not the usual thin flat cord that Atwood produces in the 1.18 micro size, but a firm round version. Although it's shown on the Atwood Rope Mfg pages, there's no telling which version you might end up receiving if you order it...

I uploaded two photos showing both sides of the knot, which look the same. I finish the ends of the paracord by pulling out about 1/4" worth of the inner strands, trim those with scissors, pull the outer sheath back down, then a quick heating/melting of each end with my lighter and crimping flat with my hemostats.

UCO Clarus lantern with knot work. I'm still using up the spool of orange tether cord that County Comm sent me a few years ago, sparingly choosing projects to use it on like this 7 lead 6 bight doubled Turk's head knot around the switch/battery cap of the lantern. I'd bought a couple more Gerber Shards which arrived in the mail today, and have already tied a red and black gaucho knot on one of them with 0.9mm cord. The red looks a little faded after working and tightening up the knot, so I touched it up with a Sharpie marker. amzn.to/2cFFjUX

BOY Scouts Movement staff head - Be Prepared
This staff head is worn proudly on a replica Boy Scouts, Great War Ambulance constructed at the behest of Mr. Gerald Newbrook, a Former District Commissioner of South West Cheshire Boy Scouts in honour of the many such ambulances that were built with donations from the Scouts, most of whom were destined to follow their brothers into the hell of the trenches in Belgium and Northern, France. DVY 350 is a unique reminder of these vehicles, none of which survive, partly due to the rate attrition in the field of conflict and secondly due to surviving vehicles being returned post war to their donors stripped of their Ambulance bodies and returned to their original specification
BE PREPARED - moto
Be prepared is the motto of the Boy Scouts Movement, in English speaking countries, with a close translation used elsewhere. The motto has been used by millions of Scouts around the world since 1907. Most of the member organizations of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts share the same motto. Coined by the movements founder Lord Baden-Powell which encourages Scouts to be prepared for any eventuality to do there duty. Or to quote Baden-Powell,
Be Prepared in Mind by having disciplined yourself to be obedient to every order, and also by having thought out beforehand any accident or situation that might occur, so that you know the right thing to do at the right moment, and are willing to do it.
Maybe coincidence but Be Prepared - BP is also Baden-Powells initials

Had to post this as although pic is a bit rubbish – it was a funny experience
I had taken my dad to rodley nature reserve for the first time and i was really hoping to see a heron to show him. I spotted one with his back to us, hunched over on an island in the middle of the lake! Not great!
Then i spotted this guy swooping in and what happened was that he flew in, and had just landed when another heron jumped out the bush – causing the first one to do this ballerina-esk style pose before flying off! He’d obviously landed in another heron’s patch!
Anyway i was so busy pointing him out i didn’t have my camera ready and only managed these blurred shots – but the pose was so funny i wanted to post it! And i was kicking myself for not getting them both in a shot!!

I bought this Bear & Son Scout knife off ebay a couple of years ago. It has a Mac Tools logo on the main blade, zebra wood handles, and a nice bail for paracord lanyard attachment. Other tools are screwdriver/bottle opener, can opener and awl.
Lanyard bead is a black oxide finish pewter Ona Tiki, that Schmuckatelli Co. sent me a few years ago, added to a wrist lanyard with two-strand wall knot sinnet.
The thermometer hit 94° outside this afternoon, hot around these parts for this time of year. All my EDC gets damp from sweat condensation in my pockets. Wallet, cell phone pouch, keychain pouch, watchband all sitting in front of a fan to dry out, lol... ;)

JD of Tying It All Together put up a YouTube video tutorial for tying the 'Stitched Solomon Bar'. I just added a 5/8" side release buckle and used a single strand of paracord when tying mine.
The knot is just a simple variation of the common cobra stitch/Solomon bar/Portuguese sinnet/square knotting type macrame bracelets.
