This loon was hanging our near our dock on Long Lake near Phillips, WI.
It was doing typical things like looking around, sticking its head under water, diving.

A group of about 20 Ravens playing in the strong wind and updraft created from a hummock about 40 to 60 feet high on the Tularosa Basin. Many of the birds are behind the hummock. They would rise up and down on the wind as it diverted off this flat-topped hummock. Observed them at this activity for well over an hour.
