Cyber Bullying isn't just going after older people. There are many younger people who use these technologies and with that there are now many younger people involved in the world of cyber bullying. When opening a text and deciding to read it many people are not expecting to see something horrible. It is becoming a learned behavior of many victims just to accept the abuse, internalize it, and attempt to move on. The hurt on this child's face is something that is going to stick with her the rest of her life. She is 11 years old and learning at a young age that cyber bullying is a thing of life.

This is how she acts when she gets to hang on the stoop, she loves it! Notice how she grabs at my hands but doesn't really bite or scratch, this is quite different than her behavior in the house.
I pulled back even more for this shot to show the environment in which this behavior took place. This species does not lay eggs, she will give birth live to 30 to 40 babies in late summer to early fall. I left them alone after this shot. I feel very lucky to have witnessed it.

Even though there are many antisocial behavioral examples in the media today, there are so many other positive behaviors exposed to young children and teens. Those prosocial behaviors are informational campaigns, informal education, and distance education.
For over an hour: first Andrena bimaculata widens the entrance to its burrow, then dug around, dropping cuttings inside (!?).
No idea about this behavior.

In our ongoing quest to make the barn loft the most cowboy-themed living space ever, we bought this cowhide. When we laid it down, Lucy became very nervous. You could see the little wheels turning, "Hmmm. Black and white animals who don't cut it are made into rugs around here."
After years of apathy about hunting critters (we actually had to set a mousetrap when a mouse got in our house because Lucy would sit in her bed and watch it run across the floor), Lucy has become "Super Terrier", scourge of varmints everywhere.

Apparently this is a courting behavior, where the males bring the females sticks for a nest. Taken at the Avian Cognition Lab at NAU.

As the owner of a 1957 Type 1 Beetle he restored, he participates in the hobby and craft of the Vintage Car world.
