I wish I could have gotten a better view, but this little guy was chomping plants and thin twiggy bits out of the brush there and tucking them under his arm so his little hand-paws could be free to sort. I wonder if he/she was getting them to line a nest, or to take back to little ones to eat? I don't know. When they were done they waddled away (on two legs!) carrying the bundle of plants under one arm and muching on a twig in the other! It was one of the wierdest things I've ever seen.

More on my effort to find interesting things to photograph in this ridiculously uninspiring city/environment. Honest to god, I love this photo. It's the first photo in a long time I'm going to be putting in the "The Ones You Love" group. I'm finding that this place is more cinematic than I thought.

In this panel, Colin Camerer, Andrew Caplin, and David Laibson—leading behavioral scholars whose work includes innovations in subdisciplines like behavioral finance and neuroeconomics—will join us to explore how their research has given valuable insight into economic models of human behavior. Discussion will focus on how new insights from behavioral research can be accommodated in more traditional models, and the areas in which behavioral economics can most helpfully challenge orthodox views on economic behavior. The panel should help inform audience members with backgrounds in economics and related fields on how to incorporate behavioral insights into their programs of study and research, and understand more broadly how this increasingly popular field has enriched the field of economics.

A thorough history in conjunction with the physical exam is crucial to help determine the difference between a patient who is potentially hyperthyroid vs. a patient who has a different disorder. If the client reports a behavior change in their cat, the technician should use a behavioral history questionnaire to help rule out other issues.

Side note: Many hyperthyroid cats have a thyroid gland that is large enough to palpate upon physical exam.
