Beginner Premier Exhibitor winners in the Youth Sheep Show at the Alabama National Fair Oct. 12 in Montgomery were, from left, Collins Maze of Morgan County, grand champion; Cohen Hill of Etowah County, reserve champion; Henry Jordan of Cullman County; third place; Brooklyn Ray of Cullman County, fourth place; and Reason Rutherford of Cullman County, fifth place. Beginner Premier Exhibitor is for exhibitors ages 4-8 and consists of showmanship, livestock evaluation and a written test. Alabama Farmers Federation and Alfa Insurance sponsored youth livestock events at the fair. They are pictured with Federation Executive Director Paul Pinyan.

2-shot composite for exposure control. A photograph exposed for the blue gems was combined with a photograph exposed for the watch face / metal beads. With only one photo, either the gems were too dark, or the metal highlights were blown.
