Here's my beginner dotee for the beginner dotee swap on swapbot! I was so happy that my partner loves the colour yellow because I had all kinds of yellow fabrics and embellishments that I had been so anxious to use.

This is one of the first pendants I made. It's low-fired terracotta clay topped with white slip applied through a stencil. I don't remember whether I used one glaze or several to get the orange/green coloring. I put it in a bead combo and sold it on Ebay for what I thought was an unreasonably high sum; but the customer was well-pleased, so I suppose that's all that matters. I still like the contrast of the slip on the darker clay so may have to try it again. This pendant was made approximately two years ago.

Although I usually never crop much in post production, this image was originally a vertical shot and for what ever reason I just felt it looked much better horizontal.
