June has been a great month: sunny, warm & really good conditions for all our customers on beginners windsurf lessons here at Poole Windsurfing
I took this shot shortly after the sun set. I think it turned out okay despite the fact that the trees aren't focused. It wouldn't auto focus. So I switched it to manual and just took several shots in manual until I got it focused the best that I could. What I think is neat about this shot is that there is a plane in the sky. I didn't even notice this until after I took the shot!

Winners in the beginner division of the Premier Exhibitor contest at the Youth Sheep Show during the Alabama National Fair in Montgomery Oct. 13 were Courtney White of Randolph County, first place; Ethan Estes of Cleburne County, second; Stella Williamson of Cleburne County, third; M.J. Flowers of Pike County, fourth; and Macie Simpson of DeKalb County, fifth. The beginner division is for youth ages 4 to 8. The Youth Sheep Show judge was Terry Burks with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. Alabama Farmers Federation and Alfa Insurance sponsored all youth livestock shows at the fair.
