Tousled bedsheets;
remnants of the dragon's fire.
He had spread out his wings before me in the early afternoon wearing only sunshine and a smile.
Now, the sweet smell of blueberry pancakes wafts in the air waiting to be eaten, yet I was the one consumed.
A small peek at the intimate lives of leaves.

In this laundry are working and living countless people washing the clothes and bedsheets of many people in Mumbai.
I think, it is a very hard job with the durable wetness and all these chemical substances all over.

It is a weed but still a beautiful creation of nature. Many years ago a German artist painted a field of dandelions on a bedsheet as he lacked a canvas. Well I don't need to do that but it's always an option when you need the proper supplies.
This is my first WAW! :D well technically this is not "wear it again" because Cherub is "still" wearing this outfit from a few days ago! do bedsheets count? I've pictured them before! lol
But here she is with mini Bebe the puppy! Cherub is dreaming of her new home where she will go soon <3

The Lighting Of The Sails: The Kiss Of Light.

This is one of many artworks projected onto the sails of the Sydney Opera House for Vivid Sydney 2025.
Photographed from the Cahill Walkway on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Near the south-eastern pylon.
The artist, the late David McDiarmid, was a defining voice of late 20th century's radical counterculture. He fused art, fashion, nightlife with bold activism and unapologetic self-expression.
On the 30th anniversary of the artist’s death, 'Lighting of the Sails: Kiss of Light' transforms his life’s work, rooted in activism and provocation, into a new animation projected onto the Sydney Opera House for Vivid Sydney, 2025.
Organised by mood and feeling, 'Kiss of Light' is a slow dance of texture, colour, feeling and idea, tracing the artist’s punk origins. Featuring four key bodies of work - the Bedsheet Paintings, Disco Kwilts, and the Kiss of Light and Rainbow Aphorisms - the animation draws forward McDiarmid’s practice to the present day, broadcasting the experiences of a repressed minority while embodying complex truths, absorbing fear and preserving memory.

Amazing how many people don't let a gorgeous early morning slide by between the bedsheets...no exception this gal running north on the lower level of the lake shore drive bridge (you can kind of sort of see her if you squint) Reminder: Less beer and scotch and more running shoes and miles... A screenshot of my phone’s camera roll after I took several photos using Hipstamatic to capture the various patterns I saw in the sheets on my bed. It seems like such an unimportant and maybe even strange subject for a photo, and often, taking some time to focus on “mundane” details is one thing that can help me cope and survive. And if I’m capable, something as simple as picking up my phone and trying to capture what I see can be a little helpful to make it through a few more moments. It’s amazing, the interesting things I can find around me and I’m incredibly grateful, as leaving home to take pictures is usually not something I’m very able to do because of the intense struggles I face. I’m thankful that when I’m incapable of even picking up a camera, sometimes I can use my phone to create images that are meaningful to me and helpful for me (even long after I’ve clicked the shutter) and it’s also great if someone else finds some interest or meaning in the images as well.

In Valletta, an art installation titled "Bandiera Bajda" (White Flag) is using white laundry as a symbol to explore fatherhood. The installation, by artist Etienne Farrell, features nine washing lines with white clothes and bedsheets, each representing a different father's experience.
