I am making Fifteen Bean soup tomorrow, so tonight I had to soak the beans. They were so pretty, I just had to get my camera out!
The blue bits are from an LED light I had coming in from one side. I couldn't get the blue out without messing with it for too long, so I left it in.

Macro Mondays theme: Granules
I haven't had much time to think about this theme this week, so perhaps this is an obvious choice. I ground some of the beans completely to get the granules, I partly ground others to get bigger parts, and included whole beans. Had to take it quickly before the light faded after the in-laws had gone home.
Many thanks for all your comments and favourites and HMM to everyone!
I am so particular about my coffee in the morning I go so far as to count the beans just to get the right flavour! Todays HMM theme is Coffee ;-)
The modern method of growing certain Winter crops is to sow then in the previous years stubble. The moisture is retained better and is possible because of the use of the GPS system. These Beans given good rains will rise above the straw and yield a good harvest.
Blue Lake beans are a classic Italian heirloom climbing bean.
The beans are stringless and the plant can grown up to 2m.
I like them steamed with butter, salt and pepper.
Today I picked just over 1kg.
Looking close on Friday theme: Spirals
Thanks to everyone who took the time to view, comment, and fave my photo. It’s really appreciated. 😊
The flowers die and the beans start growing. Tiny beans with a lot of growing to do. They are self pollinating.

"According to the ASPCA, green beans are totally harmless and safe for your cat. Green beans are one of the few favorite people foods you can share with your pet, since most human foods are simply not appropriate for felines."
The 10/15/18 theme for Macro Mondays is B-Food, meaning any food that begins with the letter B. Beans and broccoli are two of the seven food items that go into the salad I make every night, so this one was easy for me.
Coffee beans aren't actually beans at all—they are the seeds of a cherry-like fruit or plant.

Macro Mondays: Coffee.

This photo is a composite of 30 raw files. The lighting was two LED puck lights. I used a 10mm extension tube. The width of the bean group is approximately 1 inch in length.
Nothing like a good old hearty breakfast with your dearest to kick start the day (everyday, if possible), agree?
I love beans, don't get why most people don't like them...
