Indigenous Beading: We're beading the turtle from the creation story known as Skywoman. This creation story is shared by many Indigenous people in North America, including Potawatomi, Mohawk, Haudenosaunee, Oneida. It is a relatively new form of appliqué beading and a simplification of two-needle appliqué as it only requires one needle.
