I've spent more time than I care to think about trying to figure out how I wanted to do the circle part of the toggle clasp. Since I've never done a beaded circle before there was a lot of trial and error before I settled on a peyote stitched circle. I used the instructions out of "Beadwork", but made the inner beaded circle wider so I could fit the loop of the tassel inside. What a relief to finally have this part done!

The green colour boluse might look simpler than the peach one but actually it is more work to be done. I think because i use a small round beads on it.

This is from a mixed media class I took online with Jane LaFazio. I've never done anything like this before. I had a hard time knowing when to stop the beading.

Making a necklace.

They look like lilacs to me.

The idea for this ornament came from a beading blog I saw, but unfortunately I can no longer find the link to give proper credit to the right person. I modified it slightly to not hang loose on the ornament as whenever it slipped off the strands would get completely tangled.

I changed the tassels to a coined edging using the same pattern and added beading on the edges of the top.

Freeform peyote and right angle weave, with resin cabochon and novelty beads.
