I spotted this young lady riding her horse at Borth, Ceredigion, Wales. I was able to track her down on FB and gave her a set of images, she was chuffed to bits as it was her first time on a beach with her horse.

Blyth is a town in southeast Northumberland, England. It lies on the coast, to the south of the River Blyth and is approximately 13 miles northeast of Newcastle upon Tyne.
This photo was a salvage. While taking some beach photos today, I was playing around with the light adjustments on my camera, and for some reason it was giving me a great deal of grief trying to get an accurate fix on the right light. When I adjusted for more light, it would blow out when I hit the button! When I made it darker, it would either go black or not be dark enough. It was an oddly bright, overcast day, and it seemed to be throwing my camera off, and so I just kept playing around.
When I saw this, I thought I'd delete it, but then I wondered what I could do with it. I know from experience that sometimes the colors will mute down due to the darkness, and provide an interesting effect, so I saved it and that's exactly what happened. I like the softer tones that came out, even if there is a lot of noise and pixelation.

More boats, drums, buoys and ropes etc, all scattered on the beach front as you begin to walk over the shingles and to the sea.
A pre dawn trip to the beach on my trip to Alaska paid off. This big female just happened along the beach as the colours were at their best. Cook Inlet and the Kenai Mountains of the Kenai Peninsula are in the distance. The mountains were so far away, they were only visible at this time of day, when the sun was low down behind them.
These beach huts are in Brighton, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. They are in excellent condition and a sight worth seeing.

This is a close-up photo of a spherical beach stone that I placed on a coastal rock. I love the textures and the minimalist composition.
Sharrow Beach in Whitsands Bay, Cornwall. At low tide the bay is one big sandy beach but as the tide comes in it gets divided up into individual little coves some dissapear completely so care is needed on a rising tide. This particular one is also known as The Grotto.
I posted this a few years ago but have given the picture a revamp with some more punch and tiying up.
