Just south of Onemana is a place locals call Green Island.
A 30 minute walk south of Onemana leads to the small beaches in the distance.
Close to here a gold mine is being planned!!!!
This is an absolutely gorgeous part of The beautiful Coromandel Peninsula
View looking north from the village of Rhossili on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. The three mile sandy beach is known locally as Llangennith Sands and stretch between Worm's Head in the south and Burry Holms at the northern end. On the hills above the beach is The beacon, the highest point on the Gower Peninsula.
The Dane County Clean Beach Treatment System (PDF) use a flexible curtain and chemical-free water treatment process to create a safe swimming area with clear, beautiful, algae-free water. This helps minimizes beach closings due to algae and E. coli.
This treatment system allows visitors to enjoy the lakes right now, while Dane County and other partners work to improve the water quality of the Yahara chain of lakes through long-term projects.
Came out early this morning, before sunrise, bit overcast and some light showers, still got some good pictures at Maroubra.
Was surprised to see so many other photographers there, starting to not feel special anymore. LOL......

There is a beach in Reykjavik were people lie in sunbath and children play in the hot pools, belive it or not. It is called Nauthólsvik and it was built and design with public funds. NauthólsvÃk is worth visiting if you come to Iceland in the summertime. Taken July 2007.
