This is a photo of the golden light of the setting sun illuminating the beach sand patterns at Clam Harbour Beach.
A solitary stone washed clean by the waves on a lonely beach close to our city. Tomorrow our little country plays a game of cricket against the nation who invented it, in a ground called the home of cricket with a home crowd advantage. But cricket can be a surprising game. I hope.
I found these flowers (probably coltsfoot) when I walked along the "beach" area at a local lake on Saturday morning. Most people would probably say that this is weed but I prefer to call them wildflowers. I admire that they not only survive on rocks and sand but even flower so beautifully.

These beach huts are used for spending days by the sea in the U.K., somewhere to get changed, make a cup of tea or shelter from the rain! These particular huts are at Westgate-on-Sea in Kent.

Margate, north of Brisbane. Hardly a soul on the beach, but once the weekend arrives, it might be a different story.
I found out about Iona beach at Emily Carr Universities Granville Island campus after seeing some great prints by a photographer named Hideaki in the darkroom. Hideaki used a older Hasselblad and Ilford delta 120 film, it took him over an hour to develop his film and up to 8 hours to meticulously make RC proof prints and a few fiber prints.

"Diamond beach" This beach is beside Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon in Iceland, large chunks of ice float out from the lagoon and get washed up onto the black sand beach.
