Railay beach, Thailand

June 2008

Railay Beach (Thai: อ่าวไร่เลย์) is a small peninsula located between the city of Krabi and Ao Nang. Accessible only by boat due to the high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access. These cliffs attract rock climbers from all over the world, but the area is also popular due to its beautiful beaches and quiet relaxing atmosphere. Accommodation ranges from inexpensive bungalows popular with backpackers and climbers, to the renowned jet-set resort of Rayavadee. The three main areas of Railay consist of West Railay, East Railay and Tonsai, with Tonsai catering more to climbers.

Railay beach was not severely hit by the tsunami of December 26, 2004.

One of those overcast days. Coming back from the Niagara region which was sunny and warm decided to stop at the hamilton side of the beach. It was overcast and cool and quite breezy. Glorious sunset.

Crescent Beach in Surrey, BC, is widely considered one of the best vantage points in the region for watching the sunset. Its west-facing shoreline offers panoramic views that can include the silhouettes of Tsawwassen, Point Roberts, and Vancouver.

This gopher turtle lives in the dunes by Caspersen beach along with its many neighbors. It enjoys the sun, the ocean, the good food and the tremendous exercise of climbing the steep slopes in the hot sun. Here it is out for a leisurely walk to mingle with the other beachwalkers.

The Lord looks down from heaven

and sees the whole human race.

From his throne he observes

all who live on the earth.

He made their hearts,

so he understands everything they do.

[Psalm 33:13-15 NLT]

5 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:

1. Like it or not, we are ALL sinners: As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” (Romans 3:10-12 NLT)

2. The punishment for sin is death: When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. (Romans 5:12 NLT)

3. Jesus is our only hope: But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8 NLT) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NLT)

4. SALVATION is by GRACE through FAITH in JESUS: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:8-10 NLT)

5. Accept Jesus and receive eternal life: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 NLT) But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12 NLT) And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. (1 John 5:11-12 NLT)

Read the Bible for yourself. Allow the Lord to speak to you through his Word. YOUR ETERNITY IS AT STAKE!

No idea what the arrest was about but the police held the 'perp' for an hours worth of what seemed like paperwork.

Also, her dog was in the back seat of the police car.

Autumn at Yyteri beach (Pori, Finland).

Boulders Beach near Simonstown, the sleepy naval port south of Cape Town, is famous for its penguin colony. I find the rocks covered in a mix of barnacles, lichen and guano far more interesting. Whilst capturing the rocks, waves and clouds several penguins waddled past looking disgusted by the fact they were being totally ignored.

Clifton Beach, Cape Town.

This is one of the great secret beach in Algarve, Portugal.

To get that beach you need walk by under some other big stones at the beach, something great and dangerous, please never to that alone.

It was amazing doing that game with stones something very relaxing.
