New Zealand beaches tend to have lots of space to have your morning jog, especially on Sunday morning :) She was young and going fast as I think her dog was about to make friends with another one down the beach.

I've never seen a rig for speedlights like this thing. I would expect it to generate some seriously harsh light. They should have walked down the beach further -- there was almost no one around and they could have had very few interruptions. Of course, it would require them to walk a bit...
These grow all over the sandy areas at the beaches, parks, and along the road.

Pro tip: if you’re heading to Hawaii via Hawaiian airlines from LAX, be sure to get cleared for COVID-19 before you get on the plane. You’ll get a purple band at Gate 58, which will save you over an hour once you get to Hawaii.
