The most famous souvenir of Cirebon is Batik Trusmi. Trusmi, a village 5kms from the city is the centre of local batik production. Batik is a traditional colorful piece of textile paint with natural motif. In traditional Javanese culture batik is an art full of life philosophy.

Batik Artist's egg booth at the "Melrose Plantation Arts and Crafts Festival." Handmade by Polish people, the art of making batik eggs is about 4,000 years old. The designs on each egg take about 3 to 4 hours or more to complete.
