Having just had the Queen's Diamond Jubilee recently, I suppose this fits in quite nicely!?

Being so upset takes a lot out of a baby -- after her bath, she took a loooong nap.

Mama held her still while papa poured cups of water over her.

He was so calm, so sweet...

I stayed in the bath long after he was wrapped in a warm towel and dressed by Anthony.

I rubbed my feet, contemplated my beautifully ravaged middle

put my cheek to the surface of the water and watched the storm roll in on dark grey clouds outside...

This juvenile Blackbird tried to balance on a Marsh Marrigold leaf to bathe.

Rub a little soap here and there.....

She was pretty calm going into the water.

Doesn't he look like a little old man with the soapy sideburns?

But as soon as she got wet, she started squirming. She also kept trying to drink the water.
