The kids wanted to take a bath together. They put a colored tablet in the water and turned it pink. They had fun.

Mama held her still while papa poured cups of water over her.

He was so calm, so sweet...

I stayed in the bath long after he was wrapped in a warm towel and dressed by Anthony.

I rubbed my feet, contemplated my beautifully ravaged middle

put my cheek to the surface of the water and watched the storm roll in on dark grey clouds outside...

it was heaven.

This juvenile Blackbird tried to balance on a Marsh Marrigold leaf to bathe.

Rub a little soap here and there.....

But once immersed....she was not really a fan.
