This juvenile Blackbird tried to balance on a Marsh Marrigold leaf to bathe.

Rub a little soap here and there.....

She was pretty calm going into the water.

Doesn't he look like a little old man with the soapy sideburns?

But as soon as she got wet, she started squirming. She also kept trying to drink the water.

All wrapped up for comfort. The poor little thing stopped screaming as soon as she was out of the water.

Travelling along the river to the Chong Kneas floating village on Ton Le Sap Lake in Cambodia, we passed this family scene. Mum was bathing the child. Quite an eye opener!
