I was at the thriftstore again! And i found this My Scene Roller Girls Kennedy doll! I also found Fashion Pixiez Breanna but pictures of her will come later cuz i'm still working on her hair. But this Kennedy is in great shape! and her knee joints still move perfectly! She was only very dirty and her hair was a mess so it was bathtime for her! :p She sadly only came with her original shoes and skirt :s

PILOT - Bathtime [ Pink ]
This is a bit of a fun shot for me, taken through the kitchen window. This tray of water is just outside our kitchen window near a group of bird feeders and we get a wide variety of bathers that use it.
It was quite a warm day and this wood pigeon spent some minutes having a really good splash around. We have a pair of wood pigeons nesting in one of the trees in our back garden.
Thought we were going to get a huge snow today. It never happened, but staying in, I figured it was as good of a day as any to try my hand at some portraits of my little girl Gia at bathtime.
Taking the grand kids to nearby Haytor rocks on Dartmoor Devon i spotted these ponies and then one decided to have a bath :)
This is my little cousin Sebastian. He's even adorable and happy when he has a fever of 103.5.
I love this kid.
He has an obsession with belly buttons.
Today the Starling`s were at a larger bath but , surprise , surprise , they were still fighting over space ... I get a sense that if two Starling`s landed at the shore of the Atlantic Ocean , they would fight over who dips their toes in first ...

Charlie and I had been on an extremely muddy walk so I rang Norm and asked him to run a bath and meet us at the front door armed with a towel! He was whisked straight upstairs and into the water..heh heh! Charlie tries to escape and bathtimes are always fun and games with us getting as wet if not wetter sometimes, as the small brown one that must be obeyed! Norm came up with a great way of shielding us from the splashes...when Charlie shook, the plastic tub was placed on his head to stop his ears from flapping about...I think we thought it was funnier than what Charlie did...bless'im!

If I hadn't broke pretty much every rule I was raised to follow, I would be in a very very different place right now, having not experienced even a fraction of the interesting things that I have!
I'm never scared to break rules, if the situation dictates it!
And as for the numpty who said you can't open umbrellas indoors... Well as a strobist, I'd have a hard time modifying my flashes is all I can say!
As for role play... i think most of my self portraits entail that... and danger... book, remote shutter button, bath full of water... enough said.
I hope you'll all forgive me, tying in so many challenges today, but its pissing with rain again, so i'm stuck in the house and my son is on holiday from nursery, so no time for major editing... this shot took a fair old bit of thought, imagination and the severe saturation of lili's welly boots... shhhh, don't tell her!

I made this grubby little mouse to show what would happen if I didn't take all the steps I normally do to keep the clay pristine. I had so many people saying how much they loved this wee mouse, that I had to put him in a bubble bath with his own flannel and rubber duck! The water and bubbles were made using Scenic Water - it's amazing stuff!
