Another bath themed painting :)

London, England, 1868, a house painter named Benjamin Waddy Maughan invented the first instantaneous domestic water heater which used town gas as a fuel. Named the geyser after an Icelandic gushing hot spring, Maughan's invention circulated cold water through a matrix of copper pipes which were heated by hot gases from a gas burner at the base of the unit. Hot water then flowed into a sink or tub. The invention was somewhat dangerous because there was no flue to remove heated gases from the bathroom.

A water heater is still sometimes called a geyser in the UK

Sean arrived in the afternoon at my hotel for a shoot.

"Sweetie, I'm still in the bath!" I cried. Then, after some consideration, I added, "Come in, there's no time like the present!"

Blackbird taking a bath in the pond

Starlings must be one of the cleanest birds ever. Each morning, we get anywhere up to 100 Starlings come into the garden to feed and bathe. The tray is filled with clean water each morning so that the starlings can come in and have a good bath. As is usual with starlings, there is a lot of chatter and squabbling as they jostle each other for space to splash. It takes around 15 minutes for everyone to get a good bath

Tattoo design: elephant having a bath in a teacup. I don't really like the background (I still haven't figured them out yet), but the design itself makes me smile.

Diseño de tatuaje: elefante bañandose en una taza. No me gusta el fondo (todavía no sé manejarlos bien), pero el diseño en sí me hace sonreir.
