If I have identified this guy correctly, it is probably a juvenile. I'm open to debate!

My new green basilisk - bree got him for me because I've wanted one for ages, and also because she feels guilty for infecting me with her plague...

Another picture from an early morning boat trip. The lighting was not in our favour, and it was very drizzly, but we managed to get a few good shots of various creatures.

this is a green basilisk (also known as the jesus christ lizard because it can run on top of the water!). this was about 3 feet long.

A plumed basilisk in the Leipzig Zoo eying me rather curiously.

 

Part of the Leipzig set.

They are also called Jesus lizards because they 'walk' on water.
