Famous for its ability to run on its hind legs on land and water, the basilisk is also known as the "Jesus Christ lizard". Photographed at Drake Bay on the Osa Penninsula.

I've seen these guys on National Geographic...they've always fascinated me. I never thought I would see one in person...

 

Could only get this close if he didn't see me, so no head.
