"I Will Keep a Light Burning", by Renaud Auguste-Dormeuil , is an artistic installation tribute to Galileo, recreating with candles the night sky he observed in 1611.

For the Paris Nuit Blanche 2011, it was installed in Montmartre, just down the Sacré Coeur.

Basilique du Sacré Cœur is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city.

It was designed by Paul Abadie. Construction began in 1875 and finished in 1914. The basilica was consecrated after the end of World War I in 1919.

Quel est ce lieu?

L'abbatiale de Paray-le-Monial commencée au 10e siècle et reconstruite deux fois date du 12e siècle est un site clunisien. Elle subira des modifications au 15e siècle et une restauration au 19e. Elle devient église paroissiale en 1792

Au 19e siècle, avec le développement du culte au Sacré-Coeur, elle lui est dédiée puis devient basilique.

Le silencieux, situé très haut sur le clocher du 11e siècle, fait face à un autre personnage qualifié de bavard.

Le silencieux est devenu l'emblème de l'association des "Amis de la basilique"
