Barbie Basics Collection 001

When I went to Washington DC, I just had to visit the Lincoln Memorial. I walked all the way from the Capitol over to Abe. Of course it was crowded with tourists and I couldn't take a picture of the statue himself (at least none that I would put in my portfolio), so I started taking pictures within the Monument it self. I think this one ended up pretty good - what do you think?

Barbie basics jeans on a walk

Thanks to a fab Flickr friend (*hugs*), I was able to get both my fave Barbie Black Basics dolls =)

This is #2, with a DG body.

She is modeling an FR white body, DG tights and vest, MZ Bracelet, Barbie shorts, leg warmers, shoes, handbag and sunglasses.

This is her hair rinsed of the stiff factory gel combed with my gel. Not bad, wish I had left it alone!

Alas I just needed to comb it again ... and again ... and again ... etc.

This was the first day out the box/

I'm still trying to 'even' it out somehow. Trying to fill in, the right side, with a combover.

I think this is the prettiest of all the Basics with the Steffie face-mold. I so loved 005's production photos but in person she left me flat.
