It's about surprising compositions in the everyday, a special view of buildings, interiors ... lines made abstract.
Haven't done one of these in a while. Mostly cause I'm sick of all these people.

Roxy Rocket: Wish the helmet and the scarf actually fit together.
Black Mask: Pinstripes, baby.
Classic Ridler: Meh, probably not gonna let this one stick around.
Ventriloquist and Scarface: My favorite of these, Scarface was painted years ago.
Nocturna and Nightslayer: Little-known 70's villains. I just like em cause they're from the 70's.
Penguin: Inspired by Superfriends.

i just wanted to let you know that i'm still alive and taking pictures.
school has been really stressful and i actually can't imagine how i've managed to take a picture every day before. haha

It's always good to go back and study your basics. Especially when learning a new riding system! Nox is really enjoying his new Shetland Pet-to-Avatar conversion and wanted to join a beginner's working equitation class today to make sure he keeps a strong foundation.
Well. My Pentax 67 officially needs service. The crank has gone out and is stuck. Luckily, I have this beauty to keep me company until it comes back!

No, I don't know why it came up in your mind, but this isn't a tiny breast. This is a tiny hill.
Here you see two "different" tessellations, backlit. Front and backside are now crossed, instead of beside each other. I did this because in my eyes all sides are fronts sides ;-))
They have been discovered by many people, so I call them "Basics".
Each folded from hexagon about 17cm, glassine, grid 1:32
Here you can see "Basics", in real life, using the same patterns, but folded with different paper.
Nothing new for people who make tessellations, but I thought it would be nice, for those who don't fold, to give a little inside how basics forms can be altered into different shapes. It's a little exploring I started during the summer holidays ;-)

My back to basics title refers to hating the New Flickr page....which has meant going back to basics and having to figure all the new functions. Having to find and re install new scripts and such for self and groups I admin.
Ok who else hates it ? :)
