Lindum Grass Turf Sculptures were created in a Workshop by European Landscape Architecture Students (ELASA) as part of their mini-meeting in Scotland this April 2010.
The grass sculptures were created as part of a community event, Back To Basics Gala, in Muirhouse Shopping Centre.
Yorkshire based company Lindum Turf donated grass
turf to North Edinburgh Arts Back To Basics project.

So I had this BB Tango, and I really wasn't fond of her lipstick/mouth and ash blonde hair. So I decided for fun to give her a razor'd bob, grey eyes, and red, red lips.
So I had this BB Tango, and I really wasn't fond of her lipstick/mouth and ash blonde hair. So I decided for fun to give her a razor'd bob, grey eyes, and red, red lips.
Power is internal and eternal. Women live a challenge every day, face life with the right energy. Educated / uneducated, well to do / deprived of rights and the basics; they strive to live and make a difference to the society with every small and large thing that they can offer. This photograph (to me) reflects the life of an old lady, her experiences that she binds within and looks straight into the eyes with a calm and a satisfied look. And curious yet to know whats next, for which she is all set and ready.
