Nothing new for people who make tessellations, but I thought it would be nice, for those who don't fold, to give a little inside how basics forms can be altered into different shapes. It's a little exploring I started during the summer holidays ;-)
And also I get sometimes the request how the tessellations look like in real, not backlit, so here you are ;-)
Here you see two "different" tessellations, front (left) and backside (right), who are related to each other. They have been discovered by many people, so I call them "Basics".
I accidentally already altered one hexagon ;-))
It is very hard to explain the difference in words( sorry for that), but I do hope you see it.
Here you can see a backlit version. I folded the same patterns but with glassine, which gives such nice results, when backlit, than this paper.
Each folded from hexagon about 17cm, duo-color Kraftpaper, grid 1:32
If you are interested to see more, have a look at my tessellation album "Origami - Tessellation Progression".
New at Rewind Dirty Princess is going to take you on a drive down memory lane with Brooklyn Zoo Princess. Do you remember when we dyed jeans with bleach and navy, white, and red were the colors everyone wore? Well then check out Dirty Princess at Rewind and try out Brooklyn Zoo Princess for yourself. This head to toe outfit will make you smile with its simple tube top, baggy jeans with boxers, and work boots that we all wore. So check out out Dirty Princess's Brooklyn Zoo Princess at Rewind today.

While mom's at the market selling vegetables, the menfolk back at the farm are gambling and drinking moonshine! That's a big bottle back there, along the Kaladan river tributaries, Rakhine State, Myanmar.
This night was special. We didn't do anything other than get in our PJs, cuddle our son, and talk. But I think that's what made this moment that special. No dressing up to go out, no crowds, no nothing, just us. It's moments like this that are fundamental of keeping us strong and connected. Everytime we have moments like this I feel that much closer to you Mannie. I love you.
I'll finish off the polaroid film in my cameras and then put away polaroid for a while. the boxed film is safely in the fridge.

This my part of a recent joinup with my friends Tues, Dyms and Does who is over visiting us in Australia for a while.
We only had a few hours and some intermittent rain so we went back to basics with plain white fill and red outline, with the basic bubble backy.
Graff in its pure form.
