I finally felt like scrapping again and made a page just for me! I couldn't resist buying some of that colored twine from Studio Calico! I wrapped it into circles and then stitched them down onto my page to form hearts. This was 9.9.09 - my girls and I had a fun day, we baked a dessert and made PBJ sandwiches and then went outside and had a picnic on the grass. After we played on the swingset, that's when I took these photos of Taylor. I stamped the chipboard numbers at the top with a Technique Tuesday stamp and painted the foam letters yellow (they were white). Background paper is Basic Grey. TFL!

I made this card for Mike before I found out the sad news of his passing. I used all HA stamps including cg112 Hello (for the border behind the sentiment). TFL

I was so inspired by this amazing card by Jennifer McGuire www.jennifermcguireink.com/2011/05/3-basicgrey-hero-arts-...

This CG301 is my newest stamp and I love it! It reminds me of my trips to Hawaii.

I love me some Lime Rickey! Seriously. It is so different from the colors and patterns that I normally pick up. It is so vibrant and colorful, and just plain FUN! I knew right away when I got it that it needed to be on a big 12x12 frame with this photo of my girls who were dressed in their silly boots for an outing to the mall. They were silly, fun, and colorful that day, just like this collection. For the frame, I used Lime Rickey patterned papers, printed chipboard elements, and epoxy brads and tons of adhesive foam squares, glitter, and rhinestones.

My take on Wed sketch using the fun fold Sally showed on the blog earlier this year. Stamps Hero Arts (sparkle clear cute letters); Paper Basic Grey (cupcake); stickers unknown.

My poor DH is also a Christmas baby and to top it off now has to share the attention with our son, who also has his birthday at the same time of year. But at least he gets his own special card.

By the way Hero Arts, if you're listening, this card is the perfect example of why I would LOVE TO HAVE EXTRA LETTERS IN THE ALPHA SETS so that I can spell a word and stamp it repeatedly. I ended up losing my 'q' which I know is my own fault really, but it would have been snug and safe if I had had 2 "p" letters- that's all I'm saying. OK, I've vented now...

ValentineCard again :)

I used "TildaMedSnuttefilt" and "Swirl"-stamps and BasicGrey's Infuse paperpad as well as letters. Flowers are PrimaMarketing's Esprit and buttons from BasicGrey's TwoScoop collection. Also used couple of FancyPants AgedFlorals rub-ons.

I played with some creative girls in a google+ hangout last friday, and created this card. I had been all over MA and NH so was a bit tired, aka lazy- and only wanted to use what was within arms reach. Paper and embellishments scraps worked well here! After I saw my friend Cheiron’s card with the “weekdays” Hero Arts set, I was like “great i’ll never top that” – but i’m happy with what i ended up with.

This is my second attempt at the the “a blog named hero” color challenge. I had originally pulled these pattern papers from the Basic Grey’s Indie Bloom 6×6 paper pad when I created the butterfly card, but the patterns didn’t work in that design. I didn’t want them to go to waste, so I figured I would create another card. Hope you enjoy it!

I used Basic Grey's Urban Couture for this one as I love BG fabrics and paper.

I decided to use the extra 1 1/2 inch strips I had left over since I had 1/2 metres rather than 1/2 yards. I think it is a nice horizontal focus for the back on this one.
