I used the Studio Calico Elementary paper for the background and punched a butterfly out of the Basic Grey paper with my Sizzix butterfly die cut. Dressed up the envelope before adhering.

This is the most easy Christmas Card ever! Glued 4 strips together and done! Dotted strip: Basic Grey. Sentiment made with printer. The two die cuts are Craft Emotions.

This entry for the Moda Slice Contest is made from Max & Whiskers Jelly Roll and yardage by BasicGrey, Peltex, Batting and Fashion Buckle. It is large enough to hold 12 x 12 scrapbooking paper and is useful for carrying papers, patterns, quilt blocks or hand projects.

The photos that I uploaded earlier today were not very good (color was off). I uploaded a few more.

TFL!

Background is watercolor paper mounted onto kraft cardstock. Swirled Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto watercolor paper using blending tool and foam. Stamped vine from Stampin' Up 120045 Elements of Style set using Shabby Shutters Distress Ink. Edged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Rick rack from Basic Grey. Hummingbird is from Stampin' Up 120045 Elements of Style and is stamped using Tsukineko VersaMagic Dew Drop in Purple Hydrangea on kraft, then cut out. Sentiment (Life is a matter of moments) from same Stampin' Up set also stamped using Purple Hydrangea. Adhered with foam for dimension. Kraft based edged with Tea Dye Distress Ink.

Thanks for looking! :-)

I used the Hero Arts BasicGrey Two Way Arrows stencil and embossed it (video in the link below) on Kraft Cardstock. I used StazOn Spiced Chai Ink direct to paper over the textured embossing (which seemed perfect, since Spiced Chai is my go-to choice of hot drink).

I used three different images from the Hero Arts Caffeine Fix Digital Stamp set to create my image. I combined the coffee cup (or tea cup in my case) with the steam and the sentiment using my word processing software, which allows me to re-size, flip (I wanted my mug handle on the right) and position the images, so they are perfect for my card design, and then printed it on Natural White Cardstock.

The layout is this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch (flipped on its side to work with my vertical image).

I hope you’ll join us for our Embossing Challenge at a2z scrapbooking this month … and remember, you can use Coupon Code STEPH15 for 15% off your order of $25.00 or more (before tax and shipping) in the a2z Store.

The Mad Hatter. front of an Alice in Wonderland themed note card I made. Used; Red Eowyn Alice in Wonderland stamps, basic Grey aura stamp set (which I received from mishel in a swap) perfect pearls in eggplant and gold, page pebble rubs and staz-on ink pad. Stamped on gold iridescent vellum and the folded note card is a marbled blue card stock.

Basic grey paper, a little piece of lace and some shiny little stones :)

Happy New Year Everyone!

Thank you so much for 2012! Your sweet comments and support mean the world to me! Let's make 2013 even better together! :-)

I made these numbers after seeing them on the BasicGrey blog. They included the templates so we could make our own. BasicGrey had used patterned paper for theirs, but I printed them out on white card stock, stamped the front and back panels and put some lovely washi tape from my shop around the edges.

This was quite a fiddly project to do, but I really like how it turned out! It was so much fun to have them with to the New Year's party we had with friends yesterday! :-)

In my shop WashiTapesNL, I start off celebrating the new year with a discount code for you! Use the code Happy2013 to get 15% off your entire order! The code is valid until January 6th.

Have a wonderful first day of 2013!

Love,

Tone

The prompt for this layout was to include a handprint, I chose to use Dylan's rather than my own. I also asked him to draw me a picture that morning, to include on the page. The die cut flowers also include some of his handy work!

Papers used;Sassafras, Anthem.

Cosmo Cricket, The Boyfriend. Basic Grey, Lime Rickey.

Alphas; Sassafras, American Crafts Thickers and others.

Embellishments; Sassafras stickers and paper whimsies. Die cut flowers.

This is my first quilt! It's a stacked coin quilt for my new niece who will be born on May 21st (hopefully!). I am using Moda, Sultry by Basic Grey for the coins, the sashing is baby pink (hard to see the true color in the picture), I am working on the binding now. I did the cross-hatching on my sewing machine.

Created using the brand new February Kit from Creating Made Easy - www.leahscraftylife.com/2013/01/new-kit-club.html

A friend asked if I could make a sympathy card for her. It had to be girly with pinks & flowers. This card was inspired by Kelly, I got the inspiration from a few of her cards:
