Multi - Strand necklace with Nunn Design patera heart and lots of silver plated and gunmetal chains. Black and blue glass heart beads.
I lined the heart with chain and added blue rhinestones from Basicgrey and added diamond glaze resin.
A mailbox dressed up in the new BasicGrey Eskimo Kisses.
The tag is magnetic so that it can be moved around or taken off.
One of my favorite new stamps is the starburst stamp. Many uses for it and it serves the purpose of a flower here. It would be great as a background stamp too, I am going to try that the next time I use this stamp.

9 1/2" x 7 1/2" photo frame with 4x6 photo opening. Frame is embellished with papers from BasicGrey's LillyKate collection. It also has vintage lace, vintage buttons, ribbon, and a tag with the phrase "Once upon a time" on it. Frame has a very shabby, distressed look, with peeling and curled layers of paper exposing a print underneath.
www.taata.vuodatus.net/ - finnish card challenge.
"Haleja" is finnish and means "hugs". "Hurjasti onnea" means "Lots of luck".
A perpetual calendar - this was a lot of fun to make! I'm definitely going to make one for myself :)
I went with the main theory of LOAD for today's pages. I love this photo and remember the day I took it. It just looked right. I'm trying to focus on paying more attention to the world around me, the everyday details.
This is the digitally stitched version but you can see the individual pages in my gallery.
[Yes, the i's on page one are intentionally un-dotted and yes, I used the number 3 as the letter e, times 4]

This entry for the Moda Slice Contest is made from Max & Whiskers Jelly Roll and yardage by BasicGrey, Peltex, Batting and Fashion Buckle. It is large enough to hold 12 x 12 scrapbooking paper and is useful for carrying papers, patterns, quilt blocks or hand projects.

Quilt along at Quilter's Way

Fabrics: PB&J by basic grey for Moda
For Mother's Day, for my mom. I used old BG - Gypsy, a little Lauderdale and Cupcake and some twine. I used a Becky Fleck sketch too.
I saw BG's NSD challenge to make a card (blog.basicgrey.com/?p=7645), so there's nothing like a deadline to get me going - especially since Mother's Day is Sunday!
TFL,
Cynthia
Could this be Low Volume? I think not, but I did find a good example on the Basic Grey Blog here: blog.basicgrey.com/?p=4229. Go see
2 1/4 inch pin-backed buttons - I punched the cute dog images from one of my favorite Basic Grey papers ("Aggie" from the "June Bug" line) and added the googly eyes with Ranger's Glossy Accents. Googly eyes make everything more fun.
The little vintage paper could be folded up and tucked in a pocket like I did here with a special note for someone!
I was attempting a Kryssi style of card based on this beautiful card that she did.

But I think I got a lot carried away lol. Oh well maybe I can try again later. TFL
A later bunny card. Used HA H5380, Spellbinders Nested Eggs Dies, and Basicgrey Kioshi Paper. Ribbon from Webster's pager. TKL!
Quilt made as fundraiser for my daughter's preschool. Had each of the students write their name on a leaf, and appliqued to a "tree" along with apples for the teachers and Oreo, the school pet rabbit! The school initials are "carved" into the tree trunk. Blogged at:

LOAD28 "Ride the Horsey" Pet Scrapbook Layout - Scrapbooking outside of your style. Found layout on Pinterest I liked & a little more artsy than I usually do. Wanted to end LOAD on a fun note so I did a happy page. There's a couple more pages I need to finish, so I'll post them here when done. Supplies: cardstock (BasicGrey, Wausau & a sparkly sheet?), stickers(BasicGrey, Thickers), BasicGrey flag, CTMH cork shapes & stamps, acrylic paint, the negative of Magic Mesh, K&co Smash label maker (a pain to use).
Stamped Hero Arts' Super Flower Basket in Versamark on BasicGrey's Fusion paper.
Colored the flowers and basket with watercolor markers using a pouncing technique for a more subtly colored look.
Stamped the sentiment with Studio G's stamp, in Versamark, then heat embossed with Joann's brand powder in white.
Drew wavy lines next to sentiment with Sharpie poster paint pen in white.
Added Prima flowers, layered and fluffed up for dimension, with green brad from stash.
