As 11h, foi a vez da mesa 5 discutir sobre “Processos Pedagógicos na Atenção Básica: Educação Permanente, Educação Popular e Telessaúde”. Às 14h, na volta do intervalo, houve a discussão e aprovação do Pacto pela Atenção Básica no RS.

On a large plexiglass screen suspended in space, an ongoing imaging process is visualized. A sudden burst of energy scrambles the visual coherency of an image, picture elements careening off into the far reaches of a three-dimensional virtual matrix. The pixel or “basic unit of programmable color” as Graham Harwood calls it, is for a brief moment freed from its representational burden, traversing space, becoming nothing but pure chromatic value and geometrical coordinate, caught up in a turbulent, expansive moment.
For media theorist Friedrich Kittler, the addressability of the pixel provides the conditions of possibility for what he calls the virtualization of optics. Where the physical camera lens once embodied the laws of optics in order to model and extend the human eye, software now simulates the camera and all other forms of optical hardware. The pixel’s implied receptacle, the two-dimensional Cartesian grid, acts as an invisible placeholder, an organizing principle intimating neighbor relationships that provide affordances for all manner of filtering, processing and image recognition proper to computer vision and computer graphics, the analysis and synthesis of the technical image.
Over time, certain points from this bustling jumble slowly drift back, drawn once again toward the center of the screen. Pixels langorously position themselves in relation to one another, contiguous colors gradually forming small surfaces. Little by little a new image takes shape. Once the last pixel is in place, the operation repeats anew.
What one sees are the latest photographs of breaking news in real time. The news agencies’ transcription and transmission of these events, as information, forms the background for both Addressability and its linguistic counterpart, Disambiguation. A dialogue is created across the two works, words and pixels becoming discrete components in combinatory play : depiction poetically reconfigured in one, description visually permutated in the other.

The greatly contrasting colours of pink and blue allow the blossoms to really stand out. A bright summery feel is created within this image, the colours particularly showing this.
Iowa Interstate GP11 485 was parked in Iowa City awaiting its next assignment in 1996. It was still wearing its Illinois Central paint after being rebuilt at Paducah in 1979 from an old IC GP7.
It never received Iowa Interstate paint other than a solid yellow nose and a IAIS shield. It was sold off to ILSX in 2008 as IAIS was upgrading its fleet with modern power.
This one is not in the best quality, but it has an idea.
This shot is very symbolic, and I don't have a lot of shots that are like that. Actually, I don't think I have a all.
So, here it goes:
3 bottles of water, the most basic drink, in 3 of the basic colors- blue, yellow and red, with a simple white background. Very simple composition, and very simple prespective.

This project consists of a custom designed bee hive, housing more than 10,000 individual bees, insects of the specie apis mellifera. The bee hive is instrumented with custom designed electronic hardware and different sensor technologies for fairly real time capture of its different biological and environmental inherent characteristics and variables. There are different interesting variables that a biological system like this cluster of insects provide because it is comprised of different levels of organization.
Social entities like a bee swarm exhibit complex behavior that cannot be explained from the perspective of isolating its individuals. Isolating individuals means that it is extremely difficult to create a complex level of organization by adding individual abilities and stacking them together or pretending that individuals have a perfect idea of the overall needs of the colony. It is also impossible to create emergent complex behavior by establishing that every individual has a genetic inherent goal described in its body characteristics or brain.
By meanings of quantifying and modeling this interaction and reactive guidelines this project will apply the conclusion to the creation of awareness tools for artists and scientist that are willing to focus their efforts in understanding life with an unorthodox approach and have the will to dig into the complexity science perspective for understanding natural phenomena.
The interest in this project is motivated by the need of mathematical and creative models that could explain phenomena that emerges in the interaction among social beings. Particular interest is placed on exploring creative methods and embodied approaches to the practice of visual representation of data sets.
