Please note that the spelling is a bit off for a purpose. The first chapters of my basic script book mostly focus on vowel marks, and letters that sound relatively familiar to English speakers. The lessons build on the same basic words, so the spelling of them evolves and becomes more complete as the chapters progress. It is annoying to have to learn and relearn like this, but there's only so much information a language baby like me can retain all at one time.
I remembered something yesterday. Years ago I worked with the byki software by Transparent Language. I got about halfway through the basic Arabic program. So I do know the basic sounds of the letters, even if I cannot speak them out loud very well myself.

Clothes by five designers whose work defines contemporary Dutch fashion will be on view in Arnhem from Saturday 2 June through Sunday 29 July 2012. Objects, photographs and scale models created by product designers, photographers and architects will also feature in the exhibition Basic Instincts: Dutch Fashion in Context, hosted at the Eusebiuskerk by Premsela and the Museum voor Moderne Kunst Arnhem. Basic Instincts first appeared in Berlin in July 2011.
