Coronado Base brings back memories of a special friend. He was one of the few who made me realized my happiness is just as important as anyone else's.
Based on the mathematical rules of Leonardo Fibonacci, the structure in the sunflower is simulated with this concept of a kinetic sculpture. Ten aluminum plates, which are mounted on thirty step motor drives, move up and down. At the end of the choreography, the plates move together to the fibonacci flower. This installation is part of an exhibition concept about mathematical phenomena in nature.
