This the fourth film of my experiences with 35 mm Bergger Pancro400 film.
Based on the three preceding trials, I decided to expose the film for 200 ISO instead of 400, and to develop again normally in Adox Adonal 1+25 for 8min30 at 20°C.
The results are now much more better. The basis of the film is clear and all frames could processed.
According to these experiments the nominal sensitivity of Bergger Pancro400 appears not to be 400 ISO but rather 160 to 200 ISO. I will use this for my future Bergger Pancro400 films. The most noticeable characteristics are the rendering of the skies even in difficult light condition , and the low contrast of the negative obtained.
For shooting, I used the same equipment : my Topcon Super D (produced in Tokyo, year 1972) and it normal lens Tokyo Kogaku RE Auto Topcor 1:1.8 f=58 mm for exposures.
Expositions were determined either using either the camera reading or my Autometer III Minolta lightmeter with its 10° viewfinder for selective measurements.

After process the film was digitalized using a Sony A7 body and a Minolta Slide Duplicator with a Minolta Auto Bellows III with a lens Minolta Bellow Macro Rokkor 50mm f/3.5.
About the camera: Tokyo Kogaku company (Topcon) produced SLR camera's and lenses until 1976 before giving up producing camera. The company continued its activities in opticals and still exists today for medical (ophthalmology) instruments and topography.
The Topcon SLR's were considered as particularly reliable, constructeur as the best scientific instruments of that time. The "Super D" has a exchangeable finders and could be motorized without modifications making them direct competitors of the Nikon F's (Nikon F2 at this time en 1972).
The camera was sold to me in March 2022 with the normal lens Tokyo Kogaku RE Auto Topcor 1:1.8 f=58 mm and a Canon bag to host the camera. The photometric system is functional and uses a CdS located on reflex mirror as the Miranda EE.
sad news, the death of Steve Houghton.
Steve was a good Leicestershire Police, PCSO based here in Oakham until about 6 years ago when he became ill.
Steve also took brilliant photographs of the local wildlife and shared on his website and Facebook.
I am hoping his family will keep his Facebook page as a tribute.
Steve took photos of anything that flew and slithered, quite a few times I walked or cycled to Ketton Rutland, in the hope of capturing a similar image of what some might consider unwelcome residents, the snakes. I am not sure how close up to them Steve got, I know he had some giant lenses, mainly to photograph the aircraft. Steve also went out in his wheelchair and photographed great images of the wildlife at Melton Country Park. I send my best wishes to all Steve's friends and family and share some Images of some of the time Steve served here in Oakham the earliest photo is from 2009. Steve was very proud of his role within Leicestershire and Rutland and very proud of his son, who is a Leicestershire Police officer. Steve for a long time patrolled the street of Oakham with PCSO Jay Cooper who went on to become PC Jay Cooper.

The Home Base Program is a partnership between the Red Sox Foundation and Mass General Hospital to research Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injuries.

This trendsetting coupe is truly Porsche’s “ancestor car”. Its chassis design, rear engine, aerodynamics, and shape anticipated all postwar Porsche cars. In 1931 Ferdinand Porsche, founder of the dynasty, opened a design consulting office in Stuttgart, Germany. A brilliant engineer and theoretician, Dr. Porsche was responsible for the original Volkswagen. In 1937 he and his staff, including his son Ferdinand (“Ferry”), began work on a sports car version of the VW, called the Type 64. Then Porsche decided to build his own sports car, to be called the Type 114 or F-Wagen. The mechanical drawings were never completed, but by 1939 the car had been conceptualized in detail.
The Type 114’s engine was to be located between the passengers and the rear axle. Porsche planned a then-radical 1.5-liter V-10 power plant, anticipating present-day Formula-One engines. Designer Erwin Komenda styled modern body. Porsche anticipated producing this car once world tensions subsided.
Despite the war, automakers had begun to create special cars for a Berlin-to-Rome road race. Porsche and his colleagues built three sports coupes based on the VW Type 60 (a.k.a. VW Type 60K10 Rekordwagen). Komenda’s design had fully skirted fenders. The seats were staggered to permit room for two occupants. Twin spare tires and the fuel tank were located under the hood. The new car was ready, but the ill-timed race was canceled.
The coupes were then fitted with horns and driven on the road. One was damaged in a collision; Ferdinand Porsche and his chauffeur used the other two. Only one complete Type 64, formerly owned by the Porsche family, survived the war. This re-creation was assembled on a Porsche-built VW chassis with original parts from the number 2 Type 64. The alloy body took three years to build.

AirDrain Installed under Pavers on Walkway at the Oklahoma City Downtown Pedestrian Parkway 180
Oklahoma City has been receiving a facelift lately with the MAPS Program. With all of the improvements along the Oklahoma City River and a booming entertainment district in Bricktown, Downtown OKC has many projects that will make traffic and pedestrian travel easier.
One of the projects in Downtown OKC is the Pedestrian Parkway 180 near the Devon Tower. This will allow pedestrians to have access to multiple buildings from the parking garages and a shorter route from building to building while adding beauty to the downtown area.
Drainage in an area that is mostly hardscaped is typically a HUGE issue, but with AirDrain providing a 1” void beneath the whole parkway any drainage needs are met and exceeded! When the AirDrain is installed below paver stones it not only allows water to flow to the exit drains, it also provides a strong platform for the pavers to lay evenly on. With no large unsightly drainage grates in the foot path for people to trip over or fall in.
Approximately 17,000 sqft. of pavers installed by Elevated Paver Systems completely covers the AirDrain beneath all of the landscape and hardscape features. This means the 1” of air hidden below can drain over 171 inches of rain an hour!
AirDrain grid also provides stabilization, allows for water lines, electrical lines and even radiant heat tubing can be installed below the surface.
Here is the ASTM D4716 Flow Rate per Unit Width and Hydraulic Transmissivity Testing for actual drainage capacity, at a 1/2% slope. The AirDrain will actually drain 171 inches per hour.

Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Commander Col. Mike Henderson delivered remarks to 45 community, civic and other local area leaders of the Washington Waterfront Association during the JBM-HH annual Community Breakfast at the Fort McNair portion of the joint base Sept. 10, 2015. In his remarks, Henderson provided an overview of the joint base's mission and current projects, such as the addition of a fire station at Fort McNair and the construction of a new water pumping stations just outside Fort Myer's Wright Gate. He also thanked key members and local businesses for support of JBM-HH-based service members and their families.
