The ultimate destination of Everest Base Camp Trek is to reach the first base camp of Mt. Everest which is 5364 m high from the sea level. The minimal recommended duration for this trek is 13 days. So considering on today’s’ busy world, we have reduced the duration of this trek to 13 days from 16 days.
Everest Base Camp Trek is obviously one of the most popular trekking routes in the world. Its an inspiring destination from where you learn the absolute meaning of the “roof of the world”. During the trip, you enjoy the extraordinary beauty of the Khumbu. Although it is a trekking in the Everest Base Camp, it is a moderate trekking route. It offers most remarkable scenery of 8 thousand (Mt. Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt. Makalu etc).
The trek begins from Lukla when you land Lukla airport by domestic flight. In fact, your adventure journey begins as you take your domestic flight to Lukla because Lukla airport is considered as one of the most dangerous airport in the world. However, pilots of here is used to with it. Thereafter, you move toward Phakding, a small village of Khumbu region. You stay an overnight there. Then, you pass few Sherpa villages including Namche Bazaar as well as alpine forest to reach the Everest Base Camp. On the way, you get to have an opportunity to see magnificent views of the high snow-capped mountains and ethnic cultural experience as well as Buddhist monasteries.
