Based on the darker upper mandible and the fact the lores aren't prominantly yellow, I believe this is a Western. Hundreds of larks in the Wichitas today. Flocks everywhere. Our beautiful world, pass it on.
Just got back from vacation to the Midwest, this is the Milwaukee Art Museum, located on the shores of Lake Michigan. Since the Milwaukee Lakefront faces East, this is a sunrise. (I hate waking up early). I was able to get some really great shots on my vacation, and they are very different from my typical images due to the different landscapes in the Midwest vs. the West Coast. This was the first morning, so I figured I would post this image first.
The Quadracci Pavilion of the Milwaukee Art Center was built in 2001 by famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, and was also featured in the 2011 film: Transformers Dark of the Moon.

Torre Glòries
Designed by French architect Jean Nouvel in association with the Barcelona-based firm b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos, and built between 1999 and 2005, the Torre Glòries — originally known as Torre Agbar — rises 144.44 meters over 38 floors near Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, marking the gateway to the city's 22@ technological district in Poblenou. Composed of two elliptical concrete cylinders, one inside the other, the bullet-shaped tower is wrapped in a double skin: an inner aluminum layer painted in earthy tones of blue, green, and grey, and an outer translucent glass shell made up of nearly 60,000 panes, creating an air chamber that helps with heating and ventilation. Nouvel described the building's organic, geyser-like form as inspired by the nearby mountain of Montserrat and by the spires of Gaudí's Sagrada Família, with which it establishes a silent dialogue across the city skyline. Originally the headquarters of the water utility Agbar, the tower is also renowned for its nighttime illumination, generated by more than 4,500 LED devices embedded in the facade — one of the first buildings in the world to use such extensive exterior LED lighting.

Base of the helmet is a Koruit, bootleg helmet. I filled in the visor gap and sculpted the sides. The ranger finder was sculpted over a staple which is imbedded in the sculpt to allow for a range of movement. Credit to this idea goes to LegoMatic9’s Boba Fett helmet.

The rest of the figure is sculpted. I utilized a variety of 3D elements made from electrical tape, metal from a soda can, and fishing line. The texture of the underlying red outfit is derived from plastic tablecloth.

All the battle damage and scuffage was precisely dabbed on rather than dry-brushed.

The bandana is a modified and sculpted Ninjago mask.

Jetpack is a modified CloneArmyCustoms jetpack which attaches onto the torso via magnets.

Face is painted over a Superman head. Beard and hair were painted in light gray with tan and dark gray washes.

Both weapons are from BigKidBrix. The rifle has a simple mod to the front in addition to a cloth wrap.

Last addition was the flame effect piece, made from hot glue and painted using Tamiya transparent paints. It attaches onto the wrist using cut up plastic packaging.

To reach Everest Base Camp after eight days of a vigorous trek is an amazing feeling. To see the shimmering Khumbu icefall, the iconic yellow tents of EBC completely ensconced in a Colosseum of huge peaks & hustle & bustle on the approach is a magical moment alright. I laughed & choked at seeing the yellow tents; yes at the same time! :D

Base model with the flat twin air cooled engine. On this unit, the tail lights are wrong and come from a Peugeot 104. Probably the lack of parts led to this modification.
Note, it doesn't have side protections, headrests or hubcaps, but they put a chrome tailgate handle !
The black plates indicate that the car is registered as a classic (over 30 years old).

The Battle of Basing re-enactment of 2010 was carried out by The Sealed Knot, which is the oldest and largest historical re-enactment society in the UK and Europe, respectively.
The society is dedicated to commemorating and educating the public about the English Civil War and the 17th Century. They stage events throughout the country, including large-scale re-enactments of battles, skirmishes, and sieges, as well as smaller educational visits to schools. The Sealed Knot aims to honour those who died in the English Civil War, educate the public about the period, and bring history to life through immersive experiences. It is a registered educational charity.
The Sealed Knot takes its name from the original Sealed Knot, a secret association aimed at the restoration of the monarchy, although the modern incarnation has none of the political affiliations of its namesake. Apart from re-enactment, it is also involved in research into the history of the Civil War, and education (at the school or college level) about the same.
The siege of Basing House near Basingstoke in Hampshire, was a Parliamentarian victory late in the First English Civil War. Whereas the title of the event may suggest a single siege, there were in fact three major engagements. John Paulet, 5th Marquess of Winchester owned the House and as a committed Royalist garrisoned it in support of King Charles I, as it commanded the road from London to the west through Salisbury.
The first engagement was in November 1643, when Sir William Waller at the head of an army of about 7,000 attempted to take Basing House by direct assault.
Early in 1644 the Parliamentarians attempted to arrange the secret surrender of Basing House with Lord Edward Paulet, the Marquess of Winchester's younger brother, but the plot was discovered.
Then on 4 June 1644, Colonel Richard Norton using Parliamentary troops from the Hampshire garrisons closely invested Basing House and attempted to starve the garrison into submission. This siege was broken on 12 September 1644 when a relief column under the command of Colonel Henry Gage broke through parliamentary lines.
The final siege took place in October 1645, and the House caught fire and was badly damaged. What remained was "totally slighted and demolished" by order of Parliament, with the bricks of the House offered free to anyone who would cart them away.

Concreted
Saturday morning and me and my Father in law concreted the base for our greenhouse.
We mixed the concrete ourselves. It took 1.5 tonnes of limestone chippings, (just over) .5 tonne of building sand, and 9.5 bags of cement.
Though the perspective doesn’t look like it on this photo, the base is 8’6” x 8’6”, for the 8’ x 8’ greenhouse.
(The greenhouse arrived on Friday! The delivery time was 10 days, but it came in 4 days.
My weather app at lunchtime yesterday said that we could expect rain at 7.00pm. So it wouldn’t need covering …
At 1.30pm I set off to the football. Once I got inside Turf Moor it started raining… then barely stopped until nighttime. I wasn’t a happy man.
Fortunately, due to its sheltered position the rain hasn’t affected it.
I’ll erect the greenhouse in 7-10 days, once the concrete has fully hardened.
